General Information

Travel to Azerbaijan requires an entry visa unless there is a visa-free agreement with the applicant’s country of citizenship (to view the list, click here).

The Consulate General of the Republic of Azerbaijan issues single and multiple-entry visas for tourism, business, and transit purposes.

In accordance with Azerbaijani legislation, the visa fee for U.S. citizens is as follows:

• 20 USD for a single-entry visa (valid for up to 90 days)
• 185 USD for a multiple-entry visa
• 190 USD for a multiple-entry work visa (exceptional case)

U.S. citizens and citizens of eligible countries can apply for an ASAN Visa (electronic visa) through the portal at https://evisa.gov.az/en/. The processing time for a standard e-visa is 3 business days, urgent e-visa can be obtained within 3 hours.

Note. Please consider that the Consulate General of Azerbaijan in Los Angeles does not have any cooperation with any visa assistance company. Because the visa assistance companies may charge the applicants extra fees, we encourage all applicants to directly contact our Consulate General to obtain all kinds of visas.
