Travel to Azerbaijan requires an entry visa, unless there is an agreement on visa free travel with the country of citizenship (to see the list, click here)

The Consulate General of the Republic of Azerbaijan issues single and multiple (tourist, business, and transit) visas to Azerbaijan.

In accordance with the principle of reciprocity and existing legislation, the visa fee for the U.S. citizens is $160 dollars for both single (up to 90 days) and multiple entry (up to 1 year) visas.

Please note, Money Orders (see the sample) or Cashier’s Checks (see the sample) payable to the Consulate General of Azerbaijan are the only acceptable forms of payment.

If the documents do not meet the specified requirements or the application is incomplete, it will be returned. The Consulate assumes no responsibility for any loss, damage or delay of the documents sent by mail. Services such as Federal Express, DHL, and UPS are recommended.

Processing time is up to 10 business days. The day of submission/delivery of documents by mail is not included in processing time.

Visa processing starts only after the Consulate has collected all the necessary documents.

In accordance with domestic legislation and subject to the international agreements to which Azerbaijan is a party, the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan reserves the right to deny visas.
